OmniKit Privacy Policy ====================== Last updated: September 27, 2026 1. Scope -------- OmniKit is Mantiqo's free browser-tool extension for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Brave. This notice covers the extension, not every Mantiqo product. OmniKit has no purchase account or developer-operated cloud backend. The extension does not include advertising or developer analytics. Mantiqo does not receive your clipboard contents, cookie values, bookmark list, page content or recordings through an OmniKit collection service. We do not sell those data or use them for advertising. Features that contact websites and your browser's own sync service are described separately below. 2. Data used by the tools ------------------------ Only enable and use tools appropriate for the data you want them to handle. Depending on your choices, OmniKit can process: - Clipboard text and URLs when you ask Pasty to open links. - Page links, images, media, JSON responses and resource addresses for tools such as Linkclump, Video Popout, JSON Formatter and Resources Saver. - Cookies for the selected site when you use Cookie Editor. Viewing, editing, importing or deleting a cookie changes or reads the browser's cookie store. Cookie values can contain authentication secrets. - Bookmark URLs, folder paths, response status and redirect information during a Bookmark Auditor run that you start. - Keywords, domain rules and destination patterns you enter for Site Search, including the terms you explicitly approve sending to a destination. - Download names, URLs, types and configured rules for organizing downloads. - Screen, window, tab, camera or microphone media you choose to record. The browser controls the applicable capture and device permissions. These data are processed in the browser to provide the selected tools. JSON formatting does not upload the response being formatted. 3. Local storage and browser sync -------------------------------- OmniKit uses browser sync storage for small module preferences, including enablement and settings such as download rules. If your browser synchronizes that storage, those preferences may be synchronized under your browser account's settings and policies. Preferences can contain addresses or patterns you enter. This is browser-provided sync, not an OmniKit account. Site Search keywords and domain rules, Bookmark Auditor reports, and recordings are kept in local extension storage rather than browser sync. Screen Recorder stores recording metadata and media chunks in IndexedDB, including chunks that allow interrupted recordings to be recovered. Local storage is protected by your browser and operating-system access controls; OmniKit does not promise a separate encrypted vault. Protect your browser profile and exported files accordingly. 4. Website access and network requests ------------------------------------- Website access is optional and requested for features that need it. Some features require broad website access; others use temporary access to the active tab. Local-file JSON access additionally requires the applicable browser file-access permission. You can review or revoke these permissions in the browser's extension settings. OmniKit is not completely offline. Opening clipboard links, running Site Search, auditing bookmarks and downloading page resources contact the websites involved in those tasks. Those sites receive ordinary request information, such as the requested URL and your network address, and may receive the search terms you approved. Bookmark auditing omits cookies and credentials. Ordinary tabs and browser-managed downloads otherwise follow the browser's and destination site's authentication and privacy behavior. Your browser and extension store may also process installation, update and sync information under their own policies. Those services are separate from extension-side advertising or analytics. 5. Your choices, retention and exports ------------------------------------- You can switch modules off and revoke website, file or capture permissions. Disabling a module does not necessarily erase its saved settings or results. For example, disabling Screen Recorder stops or cancels capture but does not automatically delete its recordings library. Use the tool's available controls to delete recordings, clear an audit report, change settings or export data. Cookie exports, reports, recordings and saved page files remain wherever you save them. Removing the extension does not delete those files, undo cookie or bookmark changes, or remove downloaded content. Browser-sync retention is controlled by the browser provider and your account settings. Exports can contain sensitive information. Do not share session cookies, private page content, recordings or other exported data unintentionally. 6. This notice and support ------------------------- Reading this notice at mantiqo.com makes an ordinary web request to our Vercel-hosted website. The hosting provider may process request metadata, including IP addresses and user-agent information, for delivery, security and operations. This plain-text notice contains no tracking script. If you email hello@mantiqo.com, we receive your email address and the message you choose to send so we can respond. Please do not send passwords, session cookies or unnecessary private content. We cannot remotely access or erase data that exists only in your browser or exported files. 7. Changes ---------- We update this notice when relevant product behavior changes and revise the date above. Review updated notices and release information before enabling new features or granting additional permissions.
